Ryan and I went to the hospital Monday to have an ultra sound done. It was amazing seeing how much the baby had grown and how well we could see features. We found out that we are definately having a boy. He was shy in the beginning, with his legs crossed, but after some Mt. Dew, he started moving around and we got to see. Ryan was very happy to be getting his boy! Everyone has been asking what his name will be and our response is "We don't know." Ryan wouldn't even discuss names before we found out what we were having. That way, when we knew, we could eliminate 50% of the names. SO! Now we know and we can start discussing names. We have been discussing it and emailing each other all day long with ideas while we work. Luckily, I have had some down time at work since kids are MAP testing, so I have had a little bit of time to search. We thought we had a name, but the more I talked to Ryan about it, the more I got the feeling he liked it, he just wasn't sold on it, so we kept looking. Today we found a name! I sent him a list of almost 20 names. He replied to one and one only! I couldn't believe of all the names I sent, he only commented on one, but his words were, he "loved" that particular one. Then we started looking at middle names. He emailed me a list-all beginning with the letter "J" and they were AWFUL! Jachin (Jay-kin), Jotham, Jarvis, etc. I asked him where we came up with these awful names. He just said we wanted it to start with a "J" because he like the initials. He sent me another one and it was ok. When I got home, we discussed the name with the middle name. I had to type the name into my phone to see it and looked at 3 different ways to spell the middle name. He liked one way, I liked another. I told him, since he picked out the the entire name, I got to pick the spelling. SOOOOO, without any further adieu, our son's name is Cash Jaret Luebbert.
I have pictures of the ultra sound to upload, but they are saved on my computer at work. I will upload them tomorrow for you to see.
