Watch Me Eat!

Saturday, January 23rd Cash began eating cereal. He did really well. He gobbled down all of it, but still needed to learn how to use his tongue. As the weeks went on, Cash began his first baby foods. He started with sweet potatoes on Feb. 21st, his 6 month birthday. By this time, he knows exactly how to eat and does a great job. Since then, Cash has had squash, green beans, carrots, pears, peaches, bananas, and applesauce. He gobbles all of it down. We have yet to find a food that he doesn't like. There are no funny faces for new tastes...yet.

It is too funny to watch him eat. You would think that the boy is starving. He kicks his legs and opens wide, like a little bird! There for a while, he started sucking his thumb after every bite, but finally outgrew that stage. Now, when he's swallowing, he puckers out his lips and and looks like a duck billed platapus. I wish I could catch it on camera!
Here are pictures from Cash's very first cereal experience.
