6 Month Appointment

Fed. 23rd, Cash had his 6 month wellness check. He checked out just fine. Ryan and I both went because I had many questions about food and water. There was a mix up in scheduling, so he didn't see Dr. Rogers, we saw Dr. Burrell. She told us that he could start drinking about a cup of water a day straight from the tap. It is good for him to start getting fluroide. Plus it is a good way to introduce the sippy cup. At this appointment, Cash weighed 16 lbs. 13 oz. which put him in the 35th percentile. He grew an inch, so he's at 27 1/4 in. (78th percentile), and the circ. of his head increased a cm. His head's circ. is 43.8 cm. (50th percentile).

We took a few pics at the appointment. This was Cash before shots, (waiting for the dr. to come and check on us). He definately does not like those, but he is always a trooper and calms down quickly.

My First Tooth!!!

Cash cut his first tooth on Feb, 19th. I can't believe how fast he's growing! At this rate, it won't be long until he has a whole mouth full!

Here are some more pics from the week.
Don't mind the spit up! :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Watch Me Eat!

Saturday, January 23rd Cash began eating cereal. He did really well. He gobbled down all of it, but still needed to learn how to use his tongue. As the weeks went on, Cash began his first baby foods. He started with sweet potatoes on Feb. 21st, his 6 month birthday. By this time, he knows exactly how to eat and does a great job. Since then, Cash has had squash, green beans, carrots, pears, peaches, bananas, and applesauce. He gobbles all of it down. We have yet to find a food that he doesn't like. There are no funny faces for new tastes...yet.

It is too funny to watch him eat. You would think that the boy is starving. He kicks his legs and opens wide, like a little bird! There for a while, he started sucking his thumb after every bite, but finally outgrew that stage. Now, when he's swallowing, he puckers out his lips and and looks like a duck billed platapus. I wish I could catch it on camera!
Here are pictures from Cash's very first cereal experience.

Lots to Catch Up On

Cash has gone through many changes, milestones, and just fun times since my last post! I was finally able to get all of the pictures off the camera (since Christmas) and get them downloaded to the computer this weekend. For the last several months, we have been working on the basement, so Ryan unhooked the computer, leaving me no where to download pictures I have been taking. A few weeks ago, he hooked the computer up to the tv, which isn't the best place either in my opinion. The tv is usually on, so when we get on the computer, it's our laptops, not for me to actually work with pictures, so needless to say, I am very behind. So let's play catch up! Here come all the new/old posts!
